Available role: Digital Marketing Account Manager

The Role

The purpose of this role is to represent The Big Smoke to its clients by managing and growing nominated customer accounts. This role is all about managing multiple projects at once and executing with the highest level of excellence.

Hours: Full Time (Flexible across how these hours are achieved)

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 per annum based on experience

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong grasp of the strategy required for impactful digital campaigns and how they influence an SMEs digital footprint

  • Ability to set up social media campaigns, and execute campaigns that get cut-through

  • Ability to understand not only how a client’s digital footprint could be improved, but what needs to happen to get there

  • Ability to understand and communicate how PR, SEO, content and social media fit together to ensure digital growth

  • Manage the strategy, execution and optimization of content and digital marketing campaigns

  • Ability to write copy that translates across social media, blogs and media articles

  • Ability to develop an understanding of a client’s business model and the marketplace and factors affecting sales

  • Ability to oversee team members who will support you in your campaign, ensuring they provide you with the assets required to create a successful campaign

  • Proficient in all the typical programs used by a digital agency, including software that handles:

  • Management/Collaboration; Customer Relationship Management; SEO Tools

  • Organise and manage client expectations and communicate with team

  • Ability to oversee a client campaign, including regular WIP calls with client

You must also be able to demonstrate:

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Producing and creating content

  • Negotiating with clients to enhance customer experience and reach

  • Proven success in developing and delivering value for the client’s business, including digital & direct marketing and consumer targeting.

  • Briefing and development of creative work.

  • Experience in researching and analysing a variety of data sources to support client strategies.

  • Able to work across a broad range of clients in time sensitive and productive ways that lead to outcomes.

  • Liaise with other staff and management to achieve monthly targets and KPI's

  • Ability to produce data driven reports

  • This role is extremely hands-on with creative opportunities for the right enthusiastic candidate
